Barry Deutsch lives in Portland, Oregon, in a bright blue house with pink trim and varying numbers of housepets and housemates. His comics include Hereville, about yet another troll-fighting 11-year-old Orthodox Jewish Girl, SuperButch with Becky Hawkins, about a 1940s lesbian superhero protecting the bar scene from corrupt cops, and hundreds of political cartoons. He's also part of the creative team of the bestselling Wings of Fire graphic novels. When he isn't drawing comics, Barry tries to see all the musicals he can.
