Plan Your Stay
Get ready for the weekend trip that your kids (and you kids at heart) will never stop talking about. Port Angeles is an easy weekend getaway for Seattle area families and a bucket-list destination for all Pacific Northwest adventurers.
Getting Here from Seattle
❋
Option 1: Take the Seattle to Bainbridge Island Ferry and from there take WA-305 N to WA-3 N. You will need to cross the floating Hood Canal Bridge (check in advance to see if there are travel advisories as sometimes this bridge closes). The bridge will turn into WA-104 W and from there you’ll merge onto US-101 N/E Hwy 101 towards Port Angeles.
OPTION 2: If you’d prefer to avoid ferries and bridges, you can also choose to take the I-5 S to Portland, then take highway WA-16 W and WA-3 N to WA-104 W. From there you’ll merge onto US-101 N/E Hwy 101 towards Port Angeles.
Getting Here from Victoria
❋
Reserve drive-on or walk-on tickets with the Black Ball Ferry to enjoy a scenic 90-minute ferry ride between downtown Victoria B.C. and Port Angeles, WA. All Squatchcon activities are within walking distance, or check out the free local bus lines to easily get around the convention venues and explore the city.

Just 25-30 minutes from Port Angeles, sunny Sequim offers plenty of places to stay for travelers at any budget. If you plan to stay in Sequim, you will need to plan for transportation to and from the convention: we recommend bringing or renting a car. If that is not an option for you, Clallam Transit busses are free to ride: all routes except for the Strait Shot and Hurricane Ridge Shuttle are no-fare.
