Erik Keevan

Head of the Seattle HWA, lifelong theater kid, poet, author

Erik is a writer based in Seattle and serves as co-chair of the Horror Writers Association Seattle Chapter and President of Gamut Literary Series. Currently, he is a candidate for an MFA in Creative Writing and Poetics at University of Washington. Erik writes surrealist poetry, cerebral short plays, character driven horror stories, and creates digital art work based on found images. His work has been published in Clamor Literary Magazine, Horror Tree’s Trembling with Fear series, and has been performed as part of the Victorian Horror Troupe Phantasmagoria. His story (Traffic)Circles won the 2025 Crypticon Seattle Writing Contest.
