Mark Schwartz

Writer, producer, director and documentary filmmaker

Mark has had a life-long interest in history. INQUISITION, his series set in 15th century Spain, is being developed by Barcelona-based Nostromo Pictures. VOYAGE OF THE HEART, the feature film Mark produced and directed, was distributed by First Look Studios and selected for the LA New Directors, Santa Barbara and Mill Valley Film Festivals. Three of his documentaries: Miss or Myth?, Mi Vida, and Dollar a Day, Ten Cents a Dance, screened at Sundance, Berlin, Toronto, Los Angeles, London and Chicago Festivals and have been broadcast on Bravo, PBS and the BBC. Mark was a Guest Lecturer at UC Santa Cruz and currently is an Adjunct Professor at Peninsula College, WA.
