Local author Mary B. Truly will read Wild Orca and Me, a beautifully illustrated tale about two siblings exploring the Salish Sea in the Pacific Northwest by canoe. They observe otters, whales, eagles, deer, and bears. A dream to see an orca comes true for the youngest sibling exploring solo. The encounter is a life-changing experience which leads to a greater understanding of the wild creatures that share our world.
