"The Lady of the Lake" Director's Cut Screening & Q&A
A researcher investigates the 1940 discovery of a body in Lake Crescent in Washington State, and the body had turned to “Soap”. She finds a tale of murder, the hunt for a killer, and herself at the crossroads of history, and the supernatural. The director's cut includes an additional 30 minutes covering some of the headier paranormal mysteries: a must-see for locals and others looking to fully explore this story. Join zine queen and alt-comix icon Donna Barr for a staged reading from most famous series: The Desert Peach! This is an interactive event: all participants willing to read for a character will receive a free signed copy of the book. The Desert Peach chronicles the adventures of the eponymous protagonist, Erwin "The Desert Fox" Rommel's fictitious homosexual younger brother, Oberst Manfred Pfirsich Marie Rommel (1900–1990), nicknamed the "Desert Peach".
