Join Peninsula Performs! for a family-friendly dance experience at Squatchcon. These workshops invite kids and caregivers to move, play, and imagine together in a relaxed and welcoming space.

Led by teaching artists and dancers Rosie Sharkey and Jenny Houston, each session draws from the world of Squatchcon. Movement is inspired by Sasquatch, mermaids, cryptids, comics, anime, manga, kawaii, gaming, and fandom culture. Expect guided activities, simple games, and open moments for creative exploration. No dance experience required!

Mermaid and pirate looks, princess dresses, tiaras, and fancy party dress encouraged!

Meet Darrell, the Squatchcon mascot! During this open meet and greet, kids and adults of all ages can come take a selfie with our sweet Squatch. Please note, Darrell is a very friendly Sasquatch but he is also over 6ft tall - small children may find him frightening.

Join Siren Circe for a “mersona” workshop that will help you bring your magical mermaid alter-ego to life! Develop your own “mersona” character with a fun, insightful worksheet that will help you imagine the dreamy details of your underwater life.
